BLACK + BIPOC CARE PACKAGES

Every 6 weeks through the end of 2020, Seagrape will be delivering care packages to our Black + BIPOC community.

It is our mission to turn self care into a love affair. We know that activism and advocacy can only be sustainable when we attend to our self care, so we can keep attending to community care. These care packages are designed to help your fill your cup, nurture, and pamper yourself.

These care packages are for our Black + BIPOC community. Request one for yourself, your neighbor, your best friend, your lover; anyone who could use a little appreciation, love, and pampering. We'll do our best to get all folks who request a package, but we will be prioritizing Black community members.

Mail + local delivery included - depending on availability (no international packages at this time.)

DONATION + VOLUNTEER INFO

These care packages are made possible through community donations! We're collecting self-care items and donations that truly attend to pampering and self care.

Some donation ideas include:

  • herbal medicine and tea (individually packaged and clearly labeled)
  • handmade jewelry
  • handmade body care: scrubs, bath soaks, oil, candles
  • art
  • gift cards (especially to BIPOC owned businesses)
  • salon services (especially BIPOC owned)
  • massage/chiropractic/acupuncture services
  • coffee shop gift cards
  • plants or flowers
  • heart medicine
  • face masks
  • that cute thing you make!

If you'd like to donate your time, we need local PDX volunteers to deliver care packages. Please click "I'd Like to Donate" below to share your info.

If you would like to donate funds, please Venmo @seagrape with the note "care package." All funds will be used to purchase gift cards from Black owned businesses in PDX to be included in the care packages, and other needs related to the care packages (shipping + packing materials, etc.)
